Show at Mission Records
Just a reminder that we're playing a show at Mission Records tonight, Saturday May 24. Also featured--and a much better reason to go--are the fabulous Fleshies, the sexy Sexy, and...well, I can't keep that up. Tommy Lasorda will be there, as well as Best Friends from Oklahoma.
Mission Records is on Mission between 18th and 19th streets. The show starts at, uh, 5pm. No really.
Okay, maybe 6pm.
Plug for our old pal Abel Klainbaum: His documentary "The History of Choking" is playing with some other medically oriented movies at ATA (Artists Television Access) around the corner. See the website for "Other Cinema." The movie contains actual footage of THE Dr. Heimlich performing his famous maneuver.
Showtime is 8:30. You can go to both shows. You can! Do it!
