Onion Flavored Radio?
Sorry, couldn't resist. After all, isn't everything better with some onion flavor?
Okay, maybe not, but it's still going to be great fun for us to be on KALX Live! this Saturday night, 9pm PDT. In the Berkeley area, you can listen on 90.7 FM, and elsewhere, listen online.
And while we're on the subject of how to spend your upcoming Saturdays, we will be playing a show at Mission Records on May 24. The bill is a staggering collection of local talent. Fresh from wreaking havoc across the U.S. and Europe, The Fleshies return to the scene of the crime that put them on the lam to begin with. Then a twosome twosome: the always great Sexy, not long for these parts; and the batting-left-while-throwing-right Tommy Lasorda.
Somewhere in the middle, perhaps to keep the room warm while music-lovers step outside to grab a beer and a smoke, will be Onion Flavored Rings. No, I don't know how we ended up on this bill, either.
Just be there, even to gape in amazement. You can always cover your ears if you have to.
