Which comes first: Record or Tour?
The tour is looking to be on for sure now. We'll be moving through the Region (i.e., the southeast US) during the second and third weeks of January, 2003.
The only date I have for sure is the kickoff at Churchill's Hideaway in Miami, on January 8. This one's for us, the only reason we'd even go to Miami to play. Churchill's always meant a lot to Iggy and me, and Paul's heard enough stories to make him curious, too.
After that, it's a two-week whirlwind everywhere from Asheville to Nashville. Except we're skipping Atlanta, because everyone knows Atlanta is evil.
So how about that record? When last I heard, we had screens ready for the cover, and the insert was just about finished. I expect we'll have them by mid-December, just in time for holiday white-elephant gifting.
No shows are planned in the meantime, as I am currently sitting here with my jaw wired shut. They say the wires come off Dec. 2, and I'll be recuperating for the rest of December.
Maybe I shouldn't have told that cop to fuck off.
