It is the fate of every website's "news" section one day to fall behind and become self-referential and apologetic. For this page, that day has arrived.
Perhaps owing to the recent band hiatus, I became accustomed to not having to report news, as there was none. However, I got too comfortable and neglected to mention two recent shows in Oakland.
But never mind, they're past. The show with Milwaukee's own Modern Machines was excellent fun, and we look forward to playing with them again...soon? As soon as possible! There was talk of a show at Gilman this month, but I have no details right now...or at least what I thought were the details are possibly wrong. (Regardless, if you get a chance to see Modern Machines on their current tour, do it! Buy a CD, too, or even one of Nate Disgusting's fabulous hand-drawn hats. Support this awesome band!)
OFR-wise, we are gearing up for a tour late next month. Planned destinations include New York City, Chattanooga, Chicago/Milwaukee, and points in between. I'll keep you posted.
