Radio, CD, Show
Maybe that won't be the exact order, and maybe I shouldn't even mention the CD at this point. But it's the plan.
On Sunday, May 18, OFR will be on radio station KALX at...uh, I forgot to get the exact time, but sometime in the PM. Just listen the whole day, okay? That's 90.7 on your FM dial, in and around Berkeley. Outside Berkeley, you may prefer the static-free streaming version.
And if all goes according to the aforementioned plan, we'll be announcing the actual release of our CD, in addition to debuting a new song.
The vinyl-impaired among you may arch an eyebrow, having heard it before. After all, a vinyl version of our record has enjoyed some five months' life already. Meanwhile the CD master languished in a dark corner, hardly daring even to hope to be cloned and distributed like its big, ungainly plastic brother.
Well, doubt freely, it's still going to happen.
And then, a scant eleven months from when we recorded its songs, we will bring these long-awaited CDs unto the world at yet another Mission Records show. Yes, we're about as tired of playing Mish Rex as you are of seeing us there, but how could we pass up a chance to play a show with both Sexy and Fleshies? And how can YOU pass up the chance to be there?
