Mish Rex Wrap-up, Throw-up
The show at Mission Records featured two different two-piece bands, and then two different three-piece bands. Tommy Lasorda rocked and swapped guitar and drums, and then Sunset Beach rocked guitar and drums while breathing fire!
Taking the stage right after Sunset Beach was relatively hefty OFR, all three of us. How do you follow fire breathing? How about this: Iggy puked up the better part of a burrito onto his snare drum about halfway through our set. I say halfway, because yes, Iggy soldiered on* and finished our set, wherein we slaughtered a pretty Leslie Gore song, and then slaughtered ourselves with "No Indian Cry," which we had to finish within the minute lest we be forced to "chicken limbo."
At the end of the night, we all smelled of kerosene, vomit, and sweat. It was great.
* - thankfully, after wiping the puke off the snare head
