Rare Indeed
Someone sent me a link to a page on Amazon.com selling our first record for $35 and up. Why so much? Because it's supposedly "rare" and out of print.
Huh? The vinyl, yeah. We'll not soon repeat the folly of doing by hand 600 silk-screened sleeves (front and back). When those are gone, sorry kids, they're gone. But No Idea's warehouse, not to mention Paul's garage, has piles of these CDs. Little Type has it, too. Even I have a box or two in the closet.
So don't be fooled by false claims of rarity. We, and our records, are common as dirt. The only rarity perhaps is honesty in marketing.
UPDATE: Speaking of "collectible" records, No Idea is bundling multiple colors of our split 7" with Bitchin' into a "box set" of three.
