Yeah! Band holiday!

This is partly because we've been spending so much time together lately, what with recording and all. But really, it's mostly so we can see our old buddies from Pensacola, This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb. And maybe Ashley from Sexy came along with them...? That would be excellent.

They're playing tonight at the 40th Street Warehouse in Oakland. There's some kind of barbecue involved, too. As regular readers know, I'm hardly even told much about shows we're actually playing at, so what am I going to hear about shows we're not playing at?

Then tomorrow night Pipe Bomb is playing at, um, Artifacts? I'm not sure of the name, but we've played there before so I remember where it is. Something like 116 Capp St. in San Francisco. As I recall, it was a bit artsy, and I may have smelled clove cigarettes out front.

But mostly I remember it because four flights of stairs is a long way to carry an amp. It turns out they have a working elevator, though. (Well, they did.) Take it if you can!
